This song takes me back to my last anniversary with my husband we celebrated in the hospital he had steaks and potatoes someone knocked on the is Lucy here long stem yellow roses he said stand back here come the water works ohhhhh how I enjoyed that day I did know that would be the last time time we had Valentines day in the hospital also that's why I say make every moment count treat every second as if it were the last because you never know ohhhhh how I miss Him soooooooo much this is a special time of the year for me he frist told me that he was in love with me on memorial day 1983 and he asked me to marry him on Father's day we were married August 9th 1983 and for 16 years nothing but death could do us apart My Son asked me if I would ever get married again I said I would have to love honor and respect a man enough to give up your Daddy's name I don't see that happening when I think about I'm not sad I focus on the good times which was most of the time even though he was sick we had good times he told me that if I wanted to kill him overnight just pity him ❤❤❤❤🎉

@@MrSterl8891 Here's some other High Inergy facts you may not know: *While all 4 group members could sing and dance, the Mitchell sisters Vernessa & Barbara were primarily vocalists, while Linda & Michelle were primarily dancers. Michelle does the lead vocal on "I Didn't Wanna Tell You" from their second album "Steppin' Out." People have commented why Don Cornelius always seemed to talk to Linda more when they appeared on "Soul Train" even though Barbara was the lead singer. It's because he knew Linda the longest from when she was a Soul Train dancer. *During the group's debut appearance on Soul Train, Barbara Mitchell is conspicuously absent, with only Vernessa, Linda, & Michelle onstage. At the time, Barbara was still a minor, and someone at Motown didn't get the permit paperwork completed on time for her to appear, so she was backstage in tears. *During rehearsals for "Motown 25" Michelle suffered some kind of nervous breakdown. NBC threatened to drop High Inergy's segment from the show unless she was replaced, so at the very last-minute Linda recruited a dancer friend of hers named Pat Douglas. Pat really resembled Michelle, so most High Inergy fans like me thought she was Michelle. Pat had LESS than a hour's rehearsal time and if you watch closely, she's constantly looking at Linda for cues. Pat also appeared with them on Soul Train, where they sing "Groove Patrol." It's on RUclips. *After years of floundering around at Motown, thanks to that exposure on "Motown 25," things were starting to look up again for High Inergy. They were supposed to be Diana Ross's opening act on a European tour, exposing them to a whole new audience. The night before they were to leave, they were informed they weren't going because Diana couldn't get any insurance for them. High Inergy was crushed.

NBC threatened to cancel High Inergy's segment on the show unless she was replaced, so at the very last-minute Linda recruited a dancer friend of hers named Pat Douglas to fill in for Michelle. Pat looked so much like Michelle nobody even realized it wasn't Michelle. Pat had less than an hour's rehearsal time, and if you look closely, she's constantly watching Linda for cues. Pat appeared with them on "Soul Train" performing "Groove Patrol." It's on RUclips. *After years of floundering around at Motown, things were finally beginning to look up again for High Inergy, thanks to that massive exposure on "Motown 25." "He's A Pretender" was re-released and was climbing the charts. High Inergy was scheduled to embark on a European tour as Diana Ross's opening act, exposing them to a whole new audience. The night before they were to leave, they were told Diana couldn't get enough insurance to cover them, so they were dropped from the tour. High Inergy was crushed. *Barbara left Motown and went solo. Linda and Pat recruited a third member and went to see Motown executive Suzanne dePasse as the "new" High Inergy but the label wasn't interested in a High Inergy grouping without Barbara, so that was it.
